Greater and grander,

Even lovelier by far,

Majestic and marvellous

I think of You, Lord, most glorious.

Sovereign and supreme,

Of You, I do dream.

Almighty and powerful

Truly compassionate, how wonderful!

Immense and intense,

Living in us, love’s presence,

Generous and self-giving,

By forgiveness we are living.

Wondrous and unassailable,

By prayer You enable,

Living and true

To all that You do.

Merciful and forgiving,

You address our living,

Giving totally, entirely

Loving and forgiving us fully.

Lord God, Lamb of God, Holy Spirit,

By faith we inherit,

All power and might

Your daily insight.

Purposeful and beautiful,

Considerate and dutiful,

Three in all might

You gift wisdom our insight.

Your image, Your likeness,

Portraying perfect holiness,

To us You do gift,

All sinfulness to shift.

Loving and forgiving,

Graced be our living.

Remaining in Jesus,

Is progress in holiness.

Godly and gracious,

Such love does embrace us,

Son and Spirit who

Add to life all through.

Mankind assessed and found wanting,

You address our shortcomings.

Love Your offer and demanding

Mercy is at Your commanding.

Truth and wisdom’s insight,

Prayers daily put right.

We praise and thank You,

For all that You do.

The Holy Spirit calling,

In Jesus we are living.

All to God’s glory,

For this is faith’s story.

Lord, what a happiness is found in faith’s story. Thank You for making this possible by Your Son, in Your Spirit. We bow before You and adore You. Amen.
